Polyrhythm Lab
Hear and internalize multiple rhythmic layers simultaneously
Two rhythmic layers play simultaneously (e.g., 3 against 2, 3 against 4). You tap one layer while the other plays. This develops the rhythmic independence essential for ensemble playing and complex music perception.
How it works
- 1.Hear both layersTwo rhythmic patterns play together (different timbres/panning). Listen to the composite.
- 2.Isolate one layerApp highlights one layer. Focus your attention on it.
- 3.Tap the isolated layerWhile both layers play, tap only the target layer.
- 4.Switch layersNow tap the other layer while both play.
