Hear a phrase, sing it back — builds audiation and melodic memory

A short melodic phrase plays. You sing it back. The app checks pitch accuracy note by note. This is the most direct path to building audiation — your internal model of what you hear. Start with 3-note phrases, expand to 8.

How it works

  1. 1.
    Hear the phrase
    A 3-5 note diatonic phrase plays (piano timbre, moderate tempo).
  2. 2.
    Hold it internally
    Brief pause (2 seconds). Hear the phrase again in your mind before singing.
  3. 3.
    Sing it back
    Sing the phrase. App tracks pitch of each note and marks accuracy.
  4. 4.
    Hear comparison
    App replays original phrase, then your attempt, so you hear the difference.
