Sharp or Flat?

Judge whether a note is sharp, flat, or in tune against a reference

A reference pitch plays, then a second note that is slightly sharp, flat, or perfectly in tune. You judge which. Essential for ensemble playing, singing harmony, and tuning.

How it works

    Hear the reference
    App plays a clean reference tone for 2 seconds.
  2. 2.
    Hear the test tone
    A second tone plays — it may be sharp (up to 30 cents), flat (up to 30 cents), or in tune.
  3. 3.
    Judge
    Tap Sharp, Flat, or In Tune.
  4. 4.
    Review
    App shows exact cent deviation and replays both tones with visual overlay.
